About Us

Identity, History, and Destiny

Who we are (Identity)

Here's the deal, One Church cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. One Church is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom. Our Purpose is to be a Loving, Vibrant, Life-Giving Church with the mission of Bringing All into Oneness with God.

Where we come from (History)

One Church was started from a pressing by God on the heart of Founding Pastor Rev. Artis J. Bufford to change the methodology of church within the Greater Easley, South Carolina Community. God burdened Pastor Bufford with the desire to reach people and bring them into oneness with God through relevant, engaging, vibrant, spirit-filled ministry. The ministry would transcend racial, economic, cultural and religious denominational barriers. A ministry that is both spiritually mature and social-minded.

Where we're headed (Destiny)

What's the bottom line? We believe that the catalyst for change needed in society and the world today is found in Jesus Christ. To this end, we envision the fulfillment of our purpose and mission will establish a lasting change in the heart, mind, actions, and spirit of mankind. Collaboratively, resulting in a change life. Therefore One Church strives to Change Lives to Change the World.
